Teaser Tuesdays (13 March 2012)

As I waited, I lifted the unopened newspaper from the table and glanced my eye over it. It rested upon a heading which sent a chill to my heart.

“Holmes,” I cried, “you are too late.”

“Ah!” said he, laying down his cup, “I feared as much. How was it done?” He spoke calmly, but I could see that he was deeply moved.

About Teaser Tuesdays:
Teaser Tuesday is a weekly book meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading! Everyone is welcome to play!

How it works:
1. Grab a book from your collection
2. Select 2 sentences that make an interesting teaser (avoid spoilers please!)
3. Post the sentences, along with author and book title in the comments of this post

This month's reading theme is THINK which comes courtesy of the National Year of Reading 2012 program!

Very intriguing! I bought this book for my son's birthday, but I'm going to have to put it into my TBR pile! My teaser is from The Black Moth by Georgette Heyer.

I've just started reading this series myself. I've been enjoying it so far. Need to find time to get to the rest of the books.

Mine is here
